For example, one of the farming areas we help distribute products from is located on the northern plateau of Chiba Prefecture, where vast vegetable fields stretch across the region. This area serves as a driving force for increasing vegetable production.
The Kanto Loam that covers this plateau is a soft volcanic ash soil with fine particles, which makes it ideal for cultivating root vegetables such as sweet potatoes, burdock, daikon radishes, carrots, and taro. In addition, fruit vegetables such as watermelons and tomatoes, as well as leafy greens like cabbage and spinach, are also actively produced here, making the area a diverse and important vegetable production region that supplies the Tokyo metropolitan area.
